About the Athlete
EXPERIENCED
Offshore sailor with over 75,000 ocean miles, including racing through the Southern Ocean via the 3 Great Capes. Broad knowledge base of boat maintenance and seamanship.
Erica built thousands of offshore miles in IMOCA 60 and class 40, gaining exposure to high end modifications from some of sailing's most extreme race circuits. She has also competed internationally in double-handed world championships.
DEDICATED ADVOCATE FOR WOMEN IN THE SPORT
Previous Skipper with The Maiden Factor empowering women in the sport. Helped shape a positive experience for many women during their first trip offshore throughout a circumnavigation.

Erica's studies at Boston University in Arabic Language & Culture fostered a passion for travel and learning about the world.​
As a team member of Boston University Dinghy Sailing (BUDS) - She was a skipper for and captain of the women's team.

In addition to her passion for studies Erica also began racing for her high school team, becoming co-captain and co-MVP her senior year.
